(Courtesy of Bris Avrohom) Recently, Bris Avrohom arranged a bris for an adult. After giving him the name he chose, Avrohom, in memory of his grandfather, he decided to go one step further and asked what mitzvah he should commit to perform. Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky suggested the mitzvah of tefillin, as that would be a daily connection between him and God. Immediately, Avrohom requested a pair of tefillin and he was taught how to wear them properly. As we say at a bris: “Just as you came into the bris, so should you come to Torah and mitzvot.” Mazel tov!
