The first time taking high school midterms can be intimidating for some students. Bruriah’s fantastic ninth grade advisors, Tamar Kamenetzky and Rena Witkin, acknowledged this reality and organized a fun, upbeat activity for their freshmen students so they could “chill” in anticipation for their first ever Bruriah HS midterms. They treated them to a delicious ice cream bar, replete with an abundance of “chilled” flavors and toppings, followed by a hilarious game of musical chairs with a twist. The freshmen left the program happy and (hopefully) a little more relaxed.
