Bruriah Has Professional Development Day

In the spirit of continuous improvement and positive growth, the entire Bruriah faculty came together for a dynamic professional development session. Following what was Baruch Hashem a tremendously successful first semester, the faculty brainstormed and prioritized what steps should be taken going forward to ensure continued collective accomplishment and how to build an even better Bruriah. A survey was then conducted where faculty members were able to provide their own feedback as to what they felt was most important going forward into the next semester.

At the close of the program, faculty members were privileged to hear words of encouragement from Rabbi Shay Schachter, the rosh bais midrash at Young Israel of Woodmere. Rabbi Schachter spoke about “The Noble Profession of Chinuch,” the enormous responsibility we have as educators, and how despite the challenges we face as educators we recognize how integral Jewish education is to the continuity of our people. The Bruriah faculty left the day of professional development inspired, fulfilled and looking forward to continued success in the coming semester.
