Word Watch, Bruriah’s Shmiras HaLashon committee, kicked off a year of inspiration with a short introduction showing what Word Watch is all about. Committee heads, senior Chaya Bernhaut and juniors Aliza Hook, Bella Mandel, Shulamis Miller, Shira Schuh and Rina Weinstein created a video demonstrating how even a single word can affect someone for better or worse. Word Watch, initially founded at Bruriah over a decade ago, plays an important role in helping students become more aware of their words and how they can impact others. As a delicious reminder to watch our words, the students enjoyed delicious sour lips candies. Everyone is excited for more Word Watch programs!
