Students in the Bruriah Junior High division didn’t have to dig too far to experience China as their student council threw a special ‘Made in China’ carnival and ‘Chinese auction.’ The girls had a great time making candy sushi, artistic fans and playing Chinese trivia. They used their tickets to win privileges from teachers and students alike. Bruriah junior and high schools are known for their exciting ‘privilege’ sales and initiatives and students look forward to winning special time with faculty outside of school and on special trips. “A special thanks to our S.O. girls and to the teachers who helped make it the event that it was,” enthused Mrs. Zehava Greenwald, junior high coordinator for Bruriah following the event.
