Bruriah Science Trips Give Students Hands-on Experience

Bruriah 11th and 12th graders enjoyed science trips this past week as part of an experiential learning initiative. The advanced biology and anatomy/physiology classes went to the Liberty Science Center. There they viewed a live camera feed of a kidney transplant from Saint Barnabas Hospital and proceeded to explore the center’s exhibits. The physics class went to the Princeton Plasma Labs where they learned about fusion technology where they were told the most recent research in the field of nuclear energy. The AP and honors biology class had the privilege of exploring the Dolan DNA Learning Center. It was a great opportunity for all participating students to expand their learning from their classes and to see lessons come to life.
