Bruriah students visited the Richard J. Codey Arena in West Orange this week, to enjoy some Shushan Purim ice skating. Zehava Greenwald, junior high coordinator, who was one of the chaperones on the trip, described the scene. “They were ice skating in costumes with their teachers,” he exclaimed, “and the kids were having total blast!”
The trip followed a week of Adar activities such as G.O.-led dancing, theme days, chesed drives and, of course, the back-to-back performances of the Bruriah mother-daughter hit, “Jerusalem Is Mine.”
