(Bruriah Sports) When senior Yocheved Sima Bohm came to Bruriah as a freshman, she dreamed of being on a swim team but didn’t know if it was even an option for an Orthodox girls high school. “When I found out that BHS had a swim team in years past, I said I’ll make it happen again.” Together with her classmate, senior Maayan Schlissel, and Director of Student Life Dena Lichtman, they worked hard to form a team and are now able to compete with a roster of 15 enthusiastic and talented swimmers. At their first meet last week against Ma’ayanot, the Bruriah Swim Team emerged victorious!
