On Monday, November 29, the Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc. (BVAC) presented award certificates to the Zimmerman siblings for their actions when Yaakov Zimmerman, age 7, was struck by a vehicle on New Bridge Road on Yom Kippur. Tamar, age 3, and Yaakov were given awards for their bravery, and Eitan, age 9, was awarded for being a hero.
