Camp Malchus, the newest camp addition to Bergen County this summer, offers an exciting, active, and inspiring camp experience for boys finishing grades 3–7. Under the leadership of Rabbi Reuven Hoff, Camp Malchus has a sports and Torah learning environment where the boys are sure to be inspired both on and off the courts. A variety of sports with expert trainers is being offered. The camp places tremendous value on middos and sportsmanship. Camp Malchus has a superior senior and junior staff who love sports, demonstrate a love and respect for Torah and are committed to enriching the summer experiences of the boys.
Campers attending Malchus will have the luxury of being in an air-conditioned facility and swimming in a semi-Olympic-sized pool at the Teaneck Jewish Center. Sports will be hosted both on campus in the large indoor full-court basketball courts as well as on outdoor fields nearby. Choices of sport clinics are available for the different interests and abilities of the campers. The variety of sport and recreational activities offered includes basketball, hockey, football, baseball, and even ping pong. Additionally, special weekly entertainment like The Rocket Show and Basketball Stars will be a highlight for the boys.
Camp Malchus prides itself on offering a rich and hands-on learning experience twice a day. Learning about Safrus and applications of hilchos Shabbos will make Torah come alive, and “Guitar-Chulent-Onegs” will enhance every erev Shabbos. New to this summer, every Thursday will feature a “Late Night” with additional sports and the privilege of having Rav Moshe Tzvi Weinberg give divrei Torah v’chizuk and lead a ruach-filled kumzitz.
