Captain Keiser Leads as TABC Defeats Ramaz

TABC Baseball is heading into the Pesach break 3-0 after cruising to a 12-0 blowout over the Ramaz Rams. The game started more than 30 minutes late due to a malfunction with the field lights, but just as the teams were readying to head home, there was light, and then there was ball. The TABC Storm took an early lead after a two run RBI single from Sammy Greenberg ‘19. In the top of the second, Aharon Weiden ‘19 belted a solo homer out of the park to give the Storm a three run cushion. All night, the Rams bats had no answers to the Storm’s star ace Yechiel Keiser ‘19. In the bottom of the fourth inning, with bases loaded and two outs, Keiser struck out the side. And in the following top half of the inning, the Rams were left to rue their chance. Keiser punished them once again, this time hitting a bases clearing RBI double, putting the game to bed. The Storm proceeded to add another six runs and, due to the mercy rule, the game wrapped up after only five innings. Keiser finished the night pitching four scoreless innings and gave up only three hits, fanning 10 batters. The Storm now enjoys a well-deserved break before taking on division rival Heschel at FDU next month.
