(Courtesy of CMD) Doctors from CMD of Englewood, New Jersey and Fresh Meadows, Queens presented advances in podiatric and spine surgery to members of Englewood PBA Chapter 216 at their recent meeting and sponsored the evening’s dinner. Head of Chapter, Detective Ron Layne, spoke of the tight relationship between the police force and CMD and its proximity and availability. The doctors emphasized the honor that the group feels in treating members of law enforcement, commenting: “For us, there is no bigger VIP than treating a law enforcement officer.” Dr. Yasmin Sarraf, whose training includes significant treatment of foot and ankle trauma, spoke to them about her experiences treating traumatic bone and muscle sprains and fractures.
