Pre-k students at Lubavitch on the Palisades began their body unit this week. They learned that our hearts send blood to all of the different parts of our bodies. They looked at their veins and noticed that they were blue/purple. They were amazed to learn that blood is really blue and only once it has oxygen in it, it turns red. They also used stethoscopes to listen to their hearts and are working on a culminating project.
