(Courtesy of Chabad of West Orange) On Tisha B’Av, at 5 p.m., Chabad of West Orange will present a documentary film titled “No. 4 Street of Our Lady, ” an award-winning documentary film presentation with Fran “Fay” Malkin.

It depicts the remarkable story of a polish Catholic woman who rescued 16 of her Jewish neighbors during the Holocaust. For close to two years this woman hid her Jewish neighbors in the hayloft of her pigsty and in a hole dug in her kitchen floor, feeding them and caring for them.

Among the Jews she saved was Fran “Fay” Malkin, who is featured in the film, and who will be joining us to share her personal experience followed by a Q&A.
