On the second night of Chanukah, the fourth through six grade students at Moriah came together to make cookie decorating boxes for Chai Lifeline families that were delivered all over New Jersey throughout Chanukah. Over 50 students participated in making 70 cookie boxes which were filled with Chanukah shaped cookies, assorted icing, colored sprinkles and decorations. Moriah’s parents volunteered to deliver these boxes to Chai Lifeline families throughout New Jersey, ranging from Lakewood to Fort Lee. This gave the families an amazing Chanukah activity for the entire family to participate in! The smiles on the faces of the families receiving these boxes were immeasurable and Moriah was thrilled to help bring a chesed component into the week of Chanukah.
