In honor of National Alzheimer’s Awareness month in November, children’s book author and Teaneck resident Chana Stiefel has co-written a book entitled “Why Can’t Grandma Remember My Name?” with Kent L. Karosen, president and CEO of the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation. In Q & A format, the book raises awareness and answers children’s questions about the disease. The artwork in the book was created by kindergartners as well as Alzheimer’s patients in art therapy programs.
