Yeshivat Shalshelet students had the special opportunity to hear from Tzvi Atkin, a soldier in the elite Duvdevan unit of the IDF. Tzvi is also Shalshelet’s head of school, Shulamit Roth’s, brother.

Tzvi spoke about his journey to becoming a lone soldier after high school, and his decision to rejoin his unit in Gaza after October 7.

He inspired the students with his message of perseverance and Jewish pride. He thanked each of them for doing their part in the war effort through tefillot and chesed and then gave the students the opportunity to ask questions.
