Last Wednesday, י’ שבט was a very special day.

It was the yahrzeit of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson, the sixth rebbe of Chabad-Lubavitch, known as the “frierdiker” or “previous” rebbe, and the day Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson assumed leadership 70 years ago.

In honor of this occasion, CYM celebrated with a rally at which the children heard a little bit about these amazing rebbes, said the 12 pesukim and sang and danced together! They ended the celebration with a delicious pizza party for all the children and staff!
