Children of Cheder Yaldei Menachem have been shining brighter than ever this Chanukah!

The fun began with a special hands-on Beit Hamikdash experience. Students had the opportunity to dress like the kohen and do their special jobs. They lit the beautiful menorah, put ketoret on the mizbeach, challah on the shulchan and much more!

The classes celebrated Chanukah in style by making their very own traditional latkes and sufganiyot that were enjoyed by all!

CYM also learned about fire safety from the fire fighters themselves in an entertaining lesson.

Most importantly, the children understand and value their unique, intrinsic light, allowing it to shine forth and brighten up the world around them, not only on Chanukah, but the whole year through.
