Choose Your Journey at MTA

MTA’s Open House went virtual this year and participants could feel the yeshiva’s signature warmth, energy and excitement through their screens, and even their front doors, as they were welcomed into MTA’s home from the comfort of their own homes. Prior to the event, attendees were surprised with visits from MTA rebbeim, faculty members, administrators and parents, who personally delivered a special Open House gift bag to each registered family and took the opportunity to get to know them. Throughout the Open House, eighth graders discovered how they can choose their own journeys at MTA, which offers talmidim a small, warm, family feel as well as endless opportunities to pursue their passions and expand their high school experience.

They also explored the yeshiva’s strong Torah, academic and extra-curricular programs and learned more about what makes MTA so special, including the rebbe-talmid relationship, leadership opportunities, location on the Yeshiva University campus, experiential learning, unique programs and lifelong friendships. The interactive and engaging sessions allowed eighth grade families to hear directly from a variety of rebbeim, faculty members, administrators, parents and talmidim. Participants reflected the many geographic locations that make up the MTA community and hailed from Monsey, Riverdale, Queens, Manhattan, West Hempstead and Brooklyn to Highland Park, Passaic, Teaneck, Bergenfield and Elizabeth, as well as several other states and countries. The achdut, ruach and the warmth of the MTA community were truly palpable and MTA’s rebbeim, faculty and talmidim look forward to spending more time getting to know eighth grade families over the next few months. Prospective families are encouraged to visit yuhsb.org/apply to submit an application from now through December 15. Questions?
