On Friday, June 21, at 9:00 p.m., young women from grades 11 through college are invited to a special Oneg Shabbat with Rabbi Landau at the home of Chaviva and Rabbi Rothwachs, 288 Schley Place.

On Shabbat, June 22, at 7:05 p.m., in the shul, Rabbi Landau will address the entire community on the topic of «אשרינו מה טוב חלקנו: Unwrapping Our Most Special Gift,” and, following the 8:05 p.m. Mincha, he will speak on «Beyond 613: In Search of a Meaningful Relationship with Hashem.”

Rabbi Yehoshua Landau is respected as a master teacher who brings creativity and clarity to the shiur room, insight and patience to personal discussions and his trademark smile to everyone.

Originally from Brooklyn, Rabbi Landau joined the faculty of Yeshivat Reishit in Beit Shemesh, Israel, in 1999 after a decade on the West Coast as a rabbi and director of student activities at both the boys and girls divisions of Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA). He immediately made his mark among both students and staff as a warm, caring and energetic rabbi, available to his students at all hours.

A Maggid Shiur and role model, Rabbi Landau always is pioneering new ways to encourage, entertain and enlighten.
