On Shabbat, July 26, 2014 at 5:15 PM, Cong. Rinat Yisrael Adult Education presents  Dena (Knoll) Freundlich speaking on “Discerning the Deeper Meaning of Havdalah: Sanctity of Time, Sanctity of Place.”

Ms. Dena (Knoll) Freundlich is the Educational Director at Midreshet AMIT in Jerusalem.  She made Aliyah in the summer of 2010 from Teaneck, NJ, where she served as Talmud Department Chair at Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls.  She holds a BA in Biology and Jewish Studies from Yeshiva University’s Stern College for Women, an MA in Bible from the Bernard Revel Graduate School, and was a member of the first graduating class of Yeshiva University’s Graduate Program for Advanced Talmudic Studies (GPATS).
