Ma’yanot was thrilled to welcome its first cohort of eighth graders who enjoyed a half day visit to Ma’ayanot. Visitors joined current students for tefillah and breakfast and then worked on a chesed project together creating care packages for children in two of our local hospitals. The eighth grade students received customized schedules catered to their interests and academic level. They were able to experience Ma’ayanot’s skilled teachers in a variety of different subjects. Additionally, visitors were paired with a buddy who escorted them to their classes throughout the morning and gave them a tour of the newly renovated building. The Discovery Day concluded with lunch and an interactive parsha shiur from Mrs. Neugroschl. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the visitors to Ma’ayanot and looks forward to continuing to welcome more eighth graders over the next few weeks.
