Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

Dear Shayna B.,

I love your column so much. It’s really helpful. I have a really big problem. The boys in my class are always playing Elimination behind my desk, at snack, lunch, and dismissal. Every two seconds I get a ball boinged on my head. Whenever I tell them to stop they never listen. When I tell the teacher she just tells them to play softer, which doesn’t even help. What should I do?

Sincerely,
Annoyed Amy

Dear Annoyed Amy,

You should tell the principal about these dangerous dodgeballers before you actually get hurt. Not only should you tell the principal, but also tell your parents about these boinging balls. If you want to take your case to a higher court, you can even tell the parents of your crazy classmates.

You have to make it known to your teacher and classmates that this has got to stop! Leave the room when the balls are flying. Your teacher will then ask why you left and you will say that you have dodgeballs being thrown at your head and you don’t like it.

After notifying practically the entire school and their parents as well as making it obvious to your teacher that this problem is life-threatening, I’m pretty sure your problem will be solved. But if that doesn’t work, you can always become a dodgeball champion and throw balls at their faces.

Best of luck,
Shayna B
