Edison’s Kehilla: Vote, Vote, Vote

Tuesday November 2 is Election Day, it is critical to our communities that you exercise your power of the vote, especially at the local level. Your presence at the polls is a show of strength in a time of growing concern that the Jewish community not be marginalized. Do your part and VOTE.

In Edison, we endorse LINE A. For mayor, we support the winner of the primary, Sam Joshi, LINE A, who has pledged his support for our priorities, along with his candidates for Council. Joshi has been educated by our friends in government as to our community’s close involvement and unique service needs; he proved understanding and supportive of our institutions. With respect to the Council, we especially want to highlight and show appreciation to Margot Harris for her attention to our community’s needs over many years.

Also on LINE A, our constant supporters over many years are—Patrick Deigman for senate, and Robert Karabinchik and Sterley Stanley for assembly. They have been consistent and true to our community.

One exception of note is the candidacy of Tali Epstein, who is running for Edison Council on the Republican ticket. She deserves consideration as a resident of our community who would be especially sensitive to our needs.

The Edison Board of Education may seem incidental to our community, but it serves a vital purpose. We have students with special needs who occasionally require their services; a supportive BOE makes all the difference in their lives. We endorse Gabriel Haller, who is an active member of our community running on Column 6. We also endorse on Column 3 David Tingle and Vimal Parkh, who give us their support. Please vote to support the special needs of our children.

Whomever you choose—PLEASE, PLEASE GO OUT AND VOTE.

Thank you for your support.
