Emma Mael and Yossi Katz have announced their engagement. Emma is the daughter of Barry and Diane Mael of Highland Park, New Jersey. Yossi is the son of Uri and Jessica Katz of Passaic and the grandson of Simcha and Pesh Katz of Teaneck and David and Shirley Sosland of Teaneck. He is also the great grandson of Mina Katz.

Yossi is a student in the semicha program at Yeshiva University (RIETS). Emma is earning a Master’s Degree in Jewish education at the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration of Yeshiva University and is the head counsellor at the Yachad program at Camp Morasha.

A September wedding is planned.
