At a private home in Englewood last week, Israel Bonds hosted a reception honoring Englewood residents Annette and Victor Schabes, Henry Glenn and Arielle and Adam Brenner, whose efforts contributed to raising over $3.5 million for Israel Bonds. Englewood Mayor Michael Wildes offered a greeting and led a prayer at the outset of the event, and is pictured here with an Israeli consular official and an Englewood councilman.
An astounding amount of over $53 billion has been raised in bonds since the state of Israel’s founding 75 years ago. The city of Englewood has consistently ranked as one of their most generous and philanthropic sources of support.
