Avital Moss is returning to teach at the Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies (BCHSJS). Moss received a bachelor’s in psychology from Lander College for Women and is working on a master’s degree in international affairs at Baruch College. She also holds certifications in EMT, global philanthropy and mental health first aid.
Moss has just been appointed assistant director of the preschool at YRSRH where she has worked for the last several years.
Her interests have led her to such diverse activities as running volunteer missions for NJ NCSY and serving as county director for a grassroots NGO in Kenya, running medical camps and program evaluations.
Fred Nagler, BCHSJS principal, said that Moss was missed by students who are glad that she has returned to teach at BCHSJS.
