Finally, Help Finding a Therapist

(Courtesy of Connect4Me) Some people find it difficult to find a therapist. That’s where Connect4Me Therapy comes in. They are here to help solve your frustrating search. You can visit www.connect4metherapy.com to set up a free 10-minute consultation or even a full session after reviewing a therapist’s bio and credentials on the site.

“At Connect4Me Therapy, we have talked to so many people who have been looking for a therapist,” said Sherry Schwartz, LCSW and clinical director. “People are looking to make changes in their lives and want to learn new tools. We help them set goals and get them to where they want to be. Sometimes just a few sessions can be so helpful.”

Connect4Me Therapy offers therapists trained and certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is helpful for many struggles including anxiety, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder, and intergenerational trauma. Other specialties include training as a Certified Multiple Addictions Therapist (CMAT) and as a CSAT. Additionally, couples can work with a therapist trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, a specialized couple’s therapy that many couples find life-changing for their relationship. Connect4Me Therapy also offers assistance to Holocaust survivors, children and grandchildren, by providing intergenerational trauma assistance. Other specialties include exposure response prevention (ERP) therapy, schema therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), help with anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and betrayal trauma.

Additionally, the practice offers an anxiety support group on Sundays at 3 p.m. for men only. This group features a lot of tools and support for men learning from each other and led and facilitated by a trained LCSW who specializes in anxiety. Additionally, groups for children ages 5-11, including a social skills group, anxiety support group, and an anger management support group as well. These groups will be offered after school for children who can benefit.

It is recommended that potential clients should call their health insurance provider and ask them about their out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits. Many plans provide a generous financial reimbursement for sessions, making therapy affordable, doable and possible.
