(JNS) Bahrain’s first ambassador to Israel, Khaled Yousif Al-Jalahmah, landed in Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday, August 31.

Upon arrival he tweeted, “A historic journey in the making accompanied by my wife. We are both very excited!”

The Israeli Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the embassy will play a central role in strengthening bilateral relations and “serve as yet another milestone of the vision of the peace accords signed in 2020.”
