Bruriah High School students were thrilled to return to school this past week. The Bruriah administration worked tirelessly over the summer to open school safely and successfully. After developing a comprehensive ‘Road to Return,’ establishing a realistic hybrid schedule and adequately preparing the building and its valuable inhabitants—teachers, staff and students—school began with smiles and success. With a staggered first day schedule, students returned to the Bruriah building with evident excitement and a clear understanding of new policies to ensure the safety of each and every student. There were outstanding first day programs, outdoor fun, joy in the hallways, friendships started and resumed, teachers returning to classrooms filled with eager students and a palpable enthusiasm to start the 2020-2021 school year right. The entire Bruriah community looks forward to a successful year for all.
