The first game of the quarterfinals was electric. Frisch came out flying, scoring an early goal and dominating the first 10 minutes. The goal sparked Rambam and they ended the period with tremendous urgency. They continued that play in the 2^nd, scoring three 3 unanswered goals.

The Frisch Cougars started the third period with a power play goal by Johnny Newman, and momentum was back on their side. Yehuda Brinn scored his second of the game on a beautiful solo effort. Frisch completed the comeback in OT with a highlight reel 2-on-1 when a Jordon Soclof made a beautiful pass to Yehuda Brinn yet again for the hat trick, and the game winner.
