The children at Gan Yaldenu Tots were very excited to celebrate Tu B’Shevat in school last Thursday. The children learned Tu B’Shevat is the birthday of the trees and that we celebrate all that the earth gives us. The day started off with the classes making fruit animals to decorate the tables for the party. After, the children planted different kinds of plants, to take home and to watch them grow in their classrooms. The day concluded by the classes dancing and singing around a table full of plants and treats. After the party each child took home a special goody bag full of treats.
