The North Jersey Jewish community was well represented at the 2015 General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), which met in Washington, D.C., from November 8 through the 10th. The enthusiastic delegation included several “first timers.”
Nina Kampler told the Jewish Link of New Jersey that “after years of hearing about the GA from my husband, Zvi Marans,” (immediate past president of JFNNJ and current chair of the Endowment Foundation) she decided to join him at the 2015 meeting. “This has been an incredible experience—inspiring, informative, heartwarming and [with] collaborative networking opportunities,” she said.
The meeting, Kampler continued, has “an overall magical happiness.” She spoke about how important it is to “carry our Jewish nation forward and make tomorrow’s world even better than today.” She called the power of Federation leaders “extraordinary.”
