Get Ready for the Rubach Family Purim Celebration at the Kaplen JCC

Bring your children in their favorite Purim costumes to enjoy junior bounce and moon bounce, slides, games, face painting, prizes, life-size cartoon characters, snacks and more, on Sunday, March 8, 1-4 p.m. Children with special needs and their families are welcome to a sensory-friendly hour from 12 to 1 p.m., where they can enjoy games and booths, Purim crafts and other activities before the carnival opens to the community.

Everyone is invited to join the fun. Suggested entrance donation is $1 per person or a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Center for Food Action. All ride and game tickets are sold on $25 cards for 30 tickets. Cards can be purchased at the door and online prior to the event. Those who pre-purchase cards can skip the line and go directly to a dedicated card pick-up at the entrance. Cards may be split across a family, so family members can share. Some games earn prizes at the game, while larger games count towards prize-room prizes. Food is also available for purchase separately.

Teens, 13 years and up, are welcome to volunteer and will receive community service hours. They can register online.

Additional parking is available from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at St. John the Theologian Greek Church next door to the JCC, where there is a connecting walkway to the JCC. For more information, please visit the JCC website at www.jccotp.org or call 201-408-1484.
