Thank you to everyone who entered!
My name is Chaim.

I have Autism and special needs.

I proudly always had a love for Face Painting. As a child I loved getting my face painted and today I’m learning to be a professional face painter.

So for Purim I decided by using my Face Painter Sweatshirt, and my bunny ears and butterfly wings.

I was A bunny rabbit, butterfly, Rainbow Face Painting princess. It was inspired by two of Face Painting friends who support me and very kind and caring of my autism.

The first Face Painting of the day on Purim was a pink butterfly I painted on my little friend Ella‘s face who is 7 years old. Their family is one of the nicest families I know and we’ve been together for a long time. On Purim as I always do, I brought them a mishloach monos and some cupcakes to celebrate the beautiful holiday.

They were so happy and their joy and smiles were precious. It made their day extra special.

Being autistic wasn’t always easy for me. However, each day is a gift and blessing and a new opportunity to wonderful things.

I’m out to show the world autism is not a deterrent to follow dreams and hopes. I know how much Hashem loves us and that he blesses us with so many things to be thankful for and celebrate the gift of life.

My name Chaim is precious to me as Chaim means life In Hebrew. Therefore, I embrace my name and celebrate my life and being happy and doing what I love with people I love.

Always keep smiling and keep shining.

I love you all.

Hugs and kisses.

Remember to put a smile on your face.

Please shine on every day.

Chaim Taraselli
