Tenafly–Join us for our latest Women’s Enrichment for Longevity and Life Symposium (WELL) to learn some helpful tools on how to overcome temptations to overeat and overindulge during the holidays, stock a healthy pantry, and prepare fabulous holiday menus that will be delicious, nutritious, and worthy of new mealtime traditions for you and your family.
The program, Healthy Eating to Survive the Holidays, will take place on Friday, November 21, as part of the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades’s ongoing WELL Health Symposiums, which are committed to helping people in the community achieve happier, healthier lives.
Presenters, who will share a wealth of valuable tips and tools on keys to a healthful kitchen and lifestyle, include Stephanie Middleberg, MS, RD, CDN, Nutritionist & Founder, Middleberg Nutrition, New York City, and Amie Valpone, Editor-in-Chief of thehealthyapple.com, personal chef, culinary nutritionist, professional recipe developer, and food photographer.
The JCC features two WELL events each year to provide a forum where women can ask questions and get the answers they need from experts who can empower them to make better-informed decisions. As gatekeepers for their families’ health and well-being, women often shape the medical, dietary, nutritional, and extracurricular practices for themselves as well as their children, spouses, and aging parents. This is the impetus for the WELL symposia.
The event is co-chaired by Debby Bacharach and Fran Weingast, working with Jodi Epstein; Stacey Faske, CHHC; Gayle Gerstein; Jennifer Graf, LCSW; Anya Luchow-Liberman, Ph.D.; Donna Neuhaus; Karen Patrusky, MD; Elle Rubach; Carol Rubin, MS, RDN; Jennifer Schiffman; Julia Segal; Special Events Chairperson Amy Zagin; Development Chairperson Bonnie Notis, and Founding Co-Chairs Nancy G. Brown, Kathy Leventhal, and Robin Miller.
Couvert $50 includes light breakfast and program; VIP $180 includes couvert, preferred seating, and reception with speakers. Register online at www.jccotp.org. For more information, contact Sharon Potolsky at 201-408-1405 or [email protected].
