As part of their preparations for the upcoming Mesibat Chumash, He’Atid second graders have been actively involved in a series of chesed projects that help connect them to Eretz Yisrael and the broader world. In addition to reciting daily Tehillim for the safety of our chayalim, the students have participated in meaningful activities that emphasize kindness, community and responsibility.
One of the highlights of their chesed work was a recent service project at Votee Park, where the students gathered with garbage bags and gloves to clean up the playground. This hands-on initiative gave them the opportunity to make a tangible impact on their local community while reinforcing the importance of caring for the environment and giving back.
A big thank you to the parent volunteers who joined in to help make this event a success!
