(Courtesy of YHPA) The Yeshivat He’Atid Parent Association (YHPA) Shuk successfully raised over $20,000 for Israeli organizations in just three weeks. One hundred percent of all sales have been donated to United Hatzalah, Migdal Ohr’s “Magen Yisrael” initiative and ZAKA.
Run by parent volunteers and open to the community, “The He’Atid Shuk” features delectable Shabbat dishes prepared by students, parents and food donated by favorite local restaurants and bakeries.
Deepest gratitude to the following businesses for their generous contributions: Cedar Market, Chopstix, Crush Cookie Bar, Glatt Express, Heimish, Hummus Elite, On the Table, @theblesseddough, Yalla, Yoni’s Pretzel Challah and 8th Day Caterers.
It has been heartwarming to see neighboring communities such as Fair Lawn, Long Island, Westchester and Baltimore reaching out for help in initiating similar events in their communities.
Stay tuned for the next shuk date. Follow @YeshivatHeAtid for future dates and opportunities to contribute.
