This past Motzei Shabbat, third grade students and their parents gathered for a special melave malka celebration. In preparation, students crafted placemats and b’samim flowers during art class. The evening began with a kumzitz led by Rabbi Jesse, followed by an interactive review of the brachot of havdalah. Parents then had the chance to design their own havdalah candles alongside their children.

The evening provided a special opportunity for learning, creativity, and strengthening community bonds, leaving everyone with a deeper appreciation for this beautiful weekly tradition.
