This past week, Heichal talmidim focused on celebrating Chanukah with action-packed festivities, including laser tag, archery, game shows, and a school-wide mesiba. On Thursday, following morning seder, the boys gathered for a shiur klali from Rabbi Pesach Skulnick, senior ram, and ninth-grade rebbe, focusing on the topic of Chanukah. This was followed by an elaborate lunch spread. The excitement was palpable as the boys were led in dancing by the Heichal band. For many of the boys, the highlight of the week was a school-wide Hallel and farbrengen with Heichal alumnus and singing sensation, Dovid Rotberg . The talmidim were moved by the powerful tefillos, which resonated deeply during the holiday of Chanukah.
