This past month, over 50 Heichal alumni gathered at the Camelback Resort in Tannersville, Pennsylvania for an exciting reunion shabbaton, enjoying a weekend with their rebbeim and fellow alumni. Talmidim gathered for a memorable and meaningful weekend of bonding and friendship, catching up, discussing their growth in learning over the last several years, reflecting on their yeshiva experience, and considering their plans for their future. The rebbeim who joined the talmidim for Shabbos, which included Heichal’s Rosh Yeshiva Rav Aryeh Stechler, Rav Pesach Skolnick, Rav Aryeh Westreich, Rav Dovid Comet, Rav Daniel Schwechter and Rav Avi Rosalimsky, remarked on how well the talmidim were doing, noting the palpable energy and excitement among them. After a full Shabbos during which the rebbeim and talmidim reunited and bonded together over inspirational divrei Torah, ruach-filled davening, singing and shmoozing, the weekend concluded with a melava malka and spirited dancing in signature Heichal style.
