This past week, rebbeim, alumni and prospective students of the Heichal HaTorah Bais Medrash gathered together in Yerushalayim for an inspiring melave malka with song and dance led by Shlomo Katz and Yosef Karduner. Divrei Torah and bracha were shared by Rosh Yeshiva Rav Aryeh Stechler, Heichal Mashgiach and Heichal Mashpiah Rav Chaim Marcus and Rabbi Daniel Schwechter, at a venue generously offered by Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh. Over 150 people, including present Heichal high school talmidim, alumni studying in Eretz Yisroel, as well as prospective Bais Medrash students, joined together to produce joyous and heartfelt negina heard throughout the Old City. Alumni studying in various yeshivas were thrilled to reunite with their friends from Heichal and reconnect with their rabbeim. Rabbi Stechler and the rebbeim discussed the importance of being in a warm bais medrash atmosphere with rebbeim who form deep relationships with their students as an optimum for young men to start the next stage of their lives. It was an unforgettable evening shared by all.
