Heichal HaTorah started the year with orientation on August 26. One hundred thirty returning talmidim, welcomed in the new 55 talmidim of Class of 2025 into yeshiva with much fun and excitement. The newest Talmidim heard from Rav Aryeh Stechler, rosh yeshiva, Rav Avi Oberlander, Jewish Studies principal, and Rabbi Macabbee Avishur, general studies principal and academic dean, who shared inspiring words about the opportunities to begin anew each year at Heichal. Freshmen played a multimedia Heichal trivia game, to learn about all the caring rebbeim and faculty they will learn with at Heichal. All students enjoyed the soft-serve ice cream truck, Krispy Kreme doughnuts and energizing music. It was so special to reconnect with fellow students and rebbeim. The atmosphere was truly electric and everyone is excited for the amazing things in store for the rest of the yeshiva year!
