On Lag B’Omer, Heimish helped Bergen Hatzalah members, who were joined by members of the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Bergenfield Volunteer Ambulance Corps, get into the Shabbat spirit with free cholent and kugel in celebration of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai, Lag B’Omer, the HatzalahThon and EMS Week. A good time was had by all, as members of Bergen Hatzalah and TVAC filled the store with achdus and simcha.
