(Courtesy of Center for Musculoskeletal Disorders) Last month, Hudson Regional Hospital and its Institute for Robotic Surgery received five new Center of Excellence designations from the Surgical Review Corporation. One of these is distinction in Robotic Spine Surgery, which Hudson Regional Hospital is the first facility in the world to receive. We have collaborated with the SRC to determine the criteria for this new award, and our spine surgery division will be the standard for all SRC future reviews.
The spinal robotic team of CMD including Dr. Jonathan Lewin, Dr. Vagmin Vora and Dr. Sam Zonshayn and Isaac Abramchayev, RPAC, are thrilled at the award. “We have been studying, investing and performing robotic spinal surgery at HRH since 2016. As directors, we have worked towards a higher level of patient outcome and advanced technology. This third party recognition gives an expert validation to our combined efforts. Congratulations to Mr. Yan Moshe, chairman of the board, Dr. Nizar Kifaieh, CEO and the Center for Musculoskeletal Disorders for all the effort and belief in spinal robotic surgery.”
