Over the last week, nearly three El Al flights per day left from Newark Airport to Israel. Accompanying almost each one were dozens of local volunteers from throughout the tri-state area who brought bags and supplies and danced and sang while the many IDF reservists answered the call to come back to Israel and report to their units.
