The Idea School’s Color War last week was a blast of green and orange. Ninth and 10th graders—Team Youth—were pitted against 11th and 12th graders—Team Wisdom—for two and a half days of sports, artwork, animation, Minecraft and other competitions, esports and video game showdowns, social media and maker challenges and more. The students had an amazing time competing against each other, including during our own version of Squid Games (no one got hurt!) and in Mr. Maza’s A-MAZA-ING race, when students, among other tasks, had to make a musical of “Lord of the Flies.” There may be Broadway in some of students’ futures!
