Hi Shayna,

My sister and I are twins and we do absolutely everything together. I worry that some kids will only like her (Twin B) and they will not want to be my friend also. What can I do about this?

Signed,

Worry Wart (Twin A)

Dear Worry Wart (Twin A),

If you guys do everything together, there is no reason that they should like your twin more than you. I understand how you might feel, as my sister and I feel that way at times. However, take the new school year as a new opportunity to make your own friends. You could try new things that you want to do that your twin might not want to and make some friends on your own. Although you are twins, you are not the same person. You are different and special. There is no one exactly like you in the whole entire universe, not even your twin. This is an opportunity for you to make your own friends as well as sharing friends with your twin. Take this time to do different things and explore what you want and meet others who share your interests. Enjoy the rest of your summer making new friends!

Best of luck,
Shayna B
