Continuing an illustrious career as a developer of educational programs, Ira Jaskoll has joined the Board of Trustees of the Builder School.
Jaskoll was a founding member of the administration of Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business, rising to the position of interim dean. In that role, he created the school’s placement office and developed the popular YU Stock Market Challenge.
He was also dean of Bramson ORT College during its transition from a training center to a degree offering institution.
“We are very excited to have Ira join the Builder School,” said Rabbi Eliyahu Teitz, founder and Head of School. “His expertise in school creation and marketing will significantly enhance our school moving forward.”
Jaskoll currently teaches business and sports management at Fairleigh Dickinson Silberman College of Business and Rutgers University Business School and is a consultant to Ateres Zevulun College.
He has served as a sports management and marketing consultant for a wide range of teams including the Israeli Olympic baseball team and New York Yankees, as well as the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center.
Jaskoll stated, “I believe in the goal of the Builder School which is why I joined its board. There are excellent high school students who can take advantage of the exciting and stimulating programs offered by the school. Similar schools exist in Israel, but now there is one in the U.S.”
